09 Jul Site Reporting and Review Process 2020
Since October 2020, MSAs, local site health authority partners, and Engagement Partners (EPs) have been working on site reporting and review process (SRRP) activities for the 2020/21 fiscal year – including MSA-health authority facilitated discussions on key activities, self-assessment statements, strategic planning, and highlights to showcase successes. A total of 65 out of 71 eligible sites participated in the 2020/21 SRRP. This year, MSAs and local health authority partners were invited to utilize an After Action Review Process approach to reflect on lessons learned, successes, and/or challenges that emerged from past year’s key activities.
Based on a review of activities undertaken by the MSAs in 2020/21, key activities focused on the following themes:
- COVID-19
- Physician wellness.
- Recruitment and retention.
- Health authority engagement.
- Physician/medical staff engagement.
- Communication.
- Quality improvement.
- Simulation & training.
It was evident through the After Action Review discussions that SRRP is being leveraged to allow MSAs and local health authority partners to connect and reflect on the past year’s activities, plan for next steps, and identify their priorities for the upcoming year. Eighty-six percent of MSAs and 87% of HA respondents rated that there was improved engagement between the HA-MSA over the last year.
